The Maker's Story
Rousseau Chocolatier is a love story at its heart. It’s the collaboration of Master Chocolatier Julien Rousseau from the South of France, and Nathalie Morin, a luxury hospitality professional from Ottawa. Their journey together took them through France, England, and Scotland, where they honed their craft and absorbed the rich traditions of European chocolate making. In 2014, they chose Halifax to build their dream, drawn by its ocean lifestyle and entrepreneurial spirit. Today, they lovingly handcraft every creation, combining Julien’s two decades of French expertise with a passion for the finest local ingredients Nova Scotia has to offer.
