Our final stop on this Canadian journey takes us to the vast and beautiful landscape of the Yukon, home to Klondike Kettle Corn. Born from the adventurous spirit of the North, this is a snack that’s all about bringing people together, whether around a campfire or cozy on the couch.

The Maker's Story

Klondike Movie Night popcorn

In 2010, founder Katie Young began popping small batches of her delicious kettle corn at the Fireweed Community Market in Whitehorse. With a background in catering and a passion for community, Katie saw a perfect opportunity to create a snack that embodies the fun and adventurous spirit of the Yukon. As a mom, foodie, and outdoor enthusiast, her goal was to craft a wholesome, ready-to-eat treat that brings a sense of joy and connection to every occasion. From its humble market beginnings, Klondike Kettle Corn has grown to become the Yukon's favourite snack, now sold in stores across the territory and beyond.

Spotlight on the Products

This is not your average popcorn. Klondike Kettle Corn is handcrafted in small batches,

They use premium mushroom kernels, which pop up bigger and fluffier, creating the perfect canvas for their incredible seasonings. Imagine the irresistible aroma of the classic Sweet & Salty kettle corn, the perfect balance of flavours in every crunchy bite. For the more adventurous palate, they offer uniquely northern-inspired tastes like Birch Syrup Caramel, or decadent options like Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt, where rich dark chocolate is drizzled over the popcorn and sprinkled with delicate sea salt flakes.

Why We Chose Them

We were completely won over by the authentic Yukon spirit of Klondike Kettle Corn. Their story, rooted in community and a love for the North, is truly inspiring. We admire their dedication to using simple, wholesome ingredients and their creative flair in developing unique flavours that you simply can't find

anywhere else. It's a fun, delicious, and genuinely Canadian snack that’s perfect for sharing, and we knew it would be a fantastic addition to our gift baskets, bringing a taste of the

Yukon to homes across the country. Our introduction to Klondike Kettle Corn happened at the recent CHFA trade show in Vancouver. After just one taste, we were completely captivated by their delicious products and knew we had found something special.
